against all odds
El Paso is 70 miles north east of Juarez and across the Rio Grande. It is the last vestige of civilization to be found before the cross over to Mexico.
The city population is an estimated 29,000 people, with an additional 6,000 transients at any given time. About half of the population is human, with the other half comprising of various mutants, D-Bees and ’Borgs. There is a high level of technology, as well as the open presence of magic.
About half of the streets of El Paso are wide and paved to accommodate various robot and all terrain vehicles. A quarter of the other roads are covered in gravel, and the smallest and newest roads are dirt.
El Paso is the last great trade center of the west, and is a place to replenish supplies, buy new clothes, repair robots and vehicles, sell artifacts and furs and other goods and receive medical attention.
As a well policed city, it is free of vampires and threats. The police are seen around the city in bright white “bushman” body armor with the word “Police” on the front with an I.D number underneath.
Perimeter patrols on the outskirts of the city wear tan armor.
